Epazote: Pungent, Traditional, Unmistakably Mexican

The bold herb that defines the flavor of a pot of beans.

TRADITIONAL FLAVOR, BOLD AROMA

Epazote, the Herb Rooted in Mexican Kitchens

Epazote is a pungent, distinctive herb long used in Mexican cooking, especially for seasoning beans, where it’s valued for both its flavor and its traditional digestive benefits. With a strong, herbaceous aroma unlike any other herb, epazote is essential for authentic quesadillas, soups, and mole verde. At Latin Specialties, we source epazote for consistent quality and authentic flavor, case after case.

Pungent, traditional, and unmistakable—epazote is the soul of a good pot of beans.
