Chamomile: Delicate, Fragrant, Naturally Calming
The gentle floral herb behind every good cup of tea.
SOFT FLORAL, TIME-HONORED CALM
Chamomile, the Flower Behind the Infusion
Chamomile is prized for its small, daisy-like flowers and soft, apple-like aroma, most often enjoyed as a soothing tea infusion. Beyond beverages, it’s also used in baking and light culinary applications for a gentle floral note. At Latin Specialties, we handle chamomile with care to preserve its color and fragrance from harvest through delivery.
Soft, floral, and calming—chamomile is comfort in every cup.

Té de Manzanilla (Chamomile Tea)
A simple infusion of chamomile flowers, steeped just long enough to stay sweet and floral.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp fresh Latin Specialties Chamomile flowers (or 2 tsp dried flowers)
- 2 cups hot water, just off the boil
- Honey, to taste
- Lemon slices (optional)
Method
- Heat the water until it just begins to bubble and take it off the heat.
- Add the chamomile, cover and steep for 5 minutes, no more than 10.
- Strain into cups and sweeten with honey, with a lemon slice if you like.
TipDo not boil the flowers and steep no longer than 10 minutes: they turn bitter.
